Maik ter Veer is a firestarter, visionary, artist and astrologer. 

He is also founder and creative director of Robodock. Since 1992 Maik creates events, exhibitions and largescale art productions mostly by recycling industrial waste. He finds inspiration in the free spaces of Amsterdam but nowadays more and more from the cycles of life & nature, astrology, mysticism, alchemy and mythology. For decades Maik is a avant-garde pioneer in the Amsterdam underground scene.

Robodock is a great example of his passion for autonomy and artistic expression. This international festival creates an unparalleled fusion of recycle technology, multimedia, robotics, fire installations, set design, performance, object theatre, modern dance and music.
